This "Open" sign greets visitors to the Toulouse Vinyards. Too clever!
And this is a photograph of one of the nearby vineyards. There are miles and miles of scenes like this as you travel throughout the Anderson Valley. This is just ten or fifteen miles from the Pacific Ocean so you really do have it all...seaside, mountains, valleys. It's really special.

Great sign, Cheryl. Those rolling hills looks so relaxing.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful place. I luv their sign.
ReplyDeleteVery clever sign, Cheryl. And the location of the vineyard is truly lovely. That must have been a fun trip for you.
ReplyDeleteI've never been to wine country. It looks beautiful, and fun!
ReplyDeleteCute signage. I wish I were there in the sunshine now.
ReplyDeleteOh that would be fun to visit wineries. Fun sign.
ReplyDeleteWhat a peaceful looking place!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, that sign is very clever.
ReplyDeleteLove that image. There is something infinitely intriguing about wine yards - I am totally lost in their beauty.
Have a lovely weekend,
xoxo
Wow Cheryl...places like this do exist and aren't only in the movies? ;-) It's so beautiful there, I could bypass the wineries and just go and find a spot to sit and write and shoot photos! Now that's the life for me!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend!
Vineyards are beautiful, aren't they? Nice picture to share here with all of us.
ReplyDeleteFirst, I thought that you were in Toulouse - France. The landscape picture looks like it, though ;-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful :-)
Greetz,
Joseph
What a lovely vista, did you sample any wines? Love a drop of the ole red myself;-)
ReplyDeleteBut--the goose is an Emden, not a Toulouse!
ReplyDeleteThe landscape reminds me of visiting friends near Los Altos more than thirty years ago. I doubt Los Altos looks like that now.

What a delightful sign! And that countryside is gorgeous.

ReplyDeleteLove the sign, too.
Thanks, Leah. It really is a peaceful and relaxing place. I love it.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ramona.
It was a great trip, Linda.
Teresa, you would love the California wine country. It IS beautiful and fun.
You could get there in just a few hours, Janell!
Hilary, it really is a great way to tour that part of the country. Glad you liked that sign, too!
It's so peaceful, Linda M.
I feel the same way, Zuzana.
Darlin, it's the perfect place to sit and write and the photo ops are to die for.
Thank you, TechnoBable. There's not much prettier than a vineyard in the hills.
Hi Joseph! I've never been to Toulouse France but maybe that's why they named their winery Toulouse!
Deb, I sampled the wines at every winery!! And bought a few bottles. Jack isn't a wine lover, though, so he just enjoyed the landscape.
Well, Mary Anne, thank you for that info! I had no idea what kind of goose that is. Is there really a Toulouse goose? Wow!
It's beautiful country, indeed, Lady Fi. I could live there, easily.
Thanks, Janie. Totally different landscape than Utah, of course, which is beautiful, too!
