A Smoothie Lovin' Cockatoo (Photo Finish Friday)

Luka
Sipping his Smoothie

Meet Luka!  This three-year old Umbrella Cockatoo visited our Smoothie kiosk with his "human" a couple of years ago.  I found these photos while sorting through a bin of pictures that aren't digital.  It's a slow process but will be totally worth it, I think.

In any case, Luka and his smoothie seemed like a good "Photo Finish Friday" post.

Thanks, Leah, of The Goat's Lunch Pail for coming up with this project.

  3. What a gorgeous bird! (I was just introduced to a wee little bird who bit me. She talks, but neglected to either warn me nor apologize!)

  4. What a cute bird. It would never occur to me that a Cockatoo would eat smoothies.

  9. Great photo of a pretty bird enjoying a pretty beverage. This would make great marketing fare for smoothies, I would think!

  15. That is such a cute picture! Growing up our best friends Mom had three of those birds (maybe they were parrots?). Anyway, they used to scare the shit out of me because they would fly all over the house!

Hope you had a great weekend!

  16. Well, everyone, once again I'm consolidating my reply...leaving in the morning for Kansas and I still have a ton to pack.

I'm so happy you got a kick out of these photos of Luka. Sure is fun running across these non-digital pics.

I just love reading your comments. It's part of what makes blogging so much fun, don't you think?

Unfortunately, because of a recent spat of spam, for awhile I'll be reviewing comments before publishing them.

Thanks for understanding.
