Canadian Geese - Photo Finish Friday

Canadian Geese
This isn't a very good picture from a technical standpoint.  The lighting was off and my focus was a bit wonky but I like how it turned out, anyway.  It's kind of reminiscent of a sepia-toned photo or an old watercolor painting that is dreadfully faded - ha!

Thanks to Leah at The Goat's Pail Lunch for creating Photo Finish Friday!

Next week I'm going to post more photos from the Winnipeg trip and I'll do a post on the most charming children's bookstore that I've ever visited.  It's in Minneapolis and I was there on Monday.  You can hold me to it. :-)

  3. I love the photo. The top part resembles a map of the world. We saw geese yesterday flying in their formation, and I'm sure practising for their flight down south.

  4. I like it too. And I see exactly what Redbush is saying. Very cool.

  5. I love this photo Cheryl, it's so peaceful looking and calming. I might have to come back to visit it later on today, it's an essay writing day and I might need my nerves calmed! lol Have a fantastic weekend!

  6. That's what I thought, too, Leah. Kinda of a cool effect. Thanks.

    Hi Betty...thanks much!

So pleased that you like it, Linda. Thank you!

You're absolutely right, Redbush...it does look like a map! Thanks for that observation.

Thanks, Hilary. Taking a cue from your clever way with words, "very cool" is what the weather is doing, right now, as a matter of fact! ;-)

I'm so glad you find it a peaceful picture, Darlin...I hope your essay turned out perfect. I have no doubt that it did.

I just love reading your comments. It's part of what makes blogging so much fun, don't you think?

Unfortunately, because of a recent spat of spam, for awhile I'll be reviewing comments before publishing them.

Thanks for understanding.
