Great job. I don't know what kind of camera you have, but I am frustrated with mine. Before I came to Yellowstone, I thought mine would be adequate. Wrong. I missed a perfect rainbow the other day. There are great photo opportunities everywhere no matter where you are.

It's a lovely photo, regardless of what type of butterfly it is! And I'm jealous of your cranberry bush. I love cranberries.

We have high-bush cranberries that grow wild around here, so I will go picking berries (in the autumn), but the bears also love cranberries, so berry-picking is always good for the heart.....

Magnificent! Monarchs are so aptly named. I wish we had more butterflies where I am, Virginia. Do have more bees than last year so that brings a smile. And I'd never seen a cranberry bush before. It's really pretty. (Your window looked clean to me!)

Nicely done. It's not easy getting a decent shot through glass but you did just fine. I'm seeing a great deal of butterflies these past couple of weeks. They're such a treat.

I could not tell that was taken through a window, or that it was cropped. Nice work! It's not a monarch, though. I think it's a lady of some kind, like painted lady, or American lady, or American painted lady. Have a great Sunday!
